 Councilor Duties and Authorities

 The duties and powers of the municipal committee are as follows;

• Examining the strategic plan, annual work program, budget and final account and giving an opinion to the municipal council.
• To take and implement expropriation decisions regarding the works included in the annual work program.
• To determine the expenditure places of the unforeseen expenses allowance.
• To transfer between the second levels of functional classification in the budget.
• To impose the penalties prescribed by law.
• To decide on the settlement of the municipal disputes, which are the subject of the lawsuit, except for taxes, duties and fees, by agreement.
• To implement the decisions of the council regarding the sale, exchange and allocation of immovable property; Deciding on the lease for a period not exceeding three years.
• To determine the opening and closing hours of public places.
• To fulfill the duties assigned to the municipal committee in other laws.
