Süleymanpaşa Kids Academy

 

Süleymanpaşa Municipality Children's Academy was established in 2017 in Osman Tabak Campus in Altınova Neighborhood. In our academy, a Montessori Educational Approach with a focus on teachers, students and parents is implemented by our experts and we primarily serve pre-school children whose families with insufficient socioeconomic level.

Our academy provides services within the body of Süleymanpaşa Municipality Youth and Sports Services Directorate, and our student registrations are made with a preliminary evaluation made in August every year.

 

WHAT IS MONTESSORI?

In this educational practice, which is different from the stereotypical classical education method, each child can progress freely, according to their own individual learning pace. Thanks to the opportunities provided to children, it is an education system in which their own choices replace the educator's prompting them, and mistakes can be controlled as a result of their own actions. Montessori education basically focuses on the formation of personality. It starts from the fact that every child is special and different. It is based on the use of concrete materials so that children aged 0-6, which is the most important period in child development, can learn abstract concepts. 

 

WHAT DOES MONTESSORI EDUCATION AIM?

The essence of the Montessori method is an understanding of a self-composed and evolving method and system that aims to allow freedom of movement and activity in a pre-prepared environment so that it can develop itself.

It is an individual-specific, fair education that allows freedom for the child to form his/her personality, supports the development process of his/her personality, and takes the individualization and socialization of the child seriously within his/her dignity.

 

WHO DEVELOPED MONTESSORI EDUCATION?
