CHILD MENTAL HEALTH CENTER
In our Süleymanpaşa Municipality Child mental health center, free psychological counseling is provided to children aged 0-8. In addition, activities and parent training seminars are organized to evaluate the mental development of children.
Besides, group work is carried out with parents and children. Our working areas are eating habits, sleeping problems, language development, toilet training, weaning process, sibling jealousy, nail biting, thumb sucking, fears, tics, technology addiction, masturbation, introversion, behavioral disorders, attention deficit and hyperactivity. The tests we apply are Bender-Gestalt Test, Koppitz Human Drawing Test, Benton Visual Memory Test, CAT (Children's Thematic Perception Test), Louisa Duss Psychoanalytic Stories Test, Ankara Developmental Inventory, OKHT (School Readiness Assessment Test), Metropolitan School Readiness Test, Gesell Developmental Figures Test and attention tests.
