Martyr Teachers Monument, located in the middle of a green area in front of the bus station, at the entrance of our Süleymanpaşa district from the direction of Istanbul, was built in 1998 in memory of our teachers who were martyred by terrorist organizations.
In the monument, which is located on a rectangular marble plinth, a marble background that narrows slightly from bottom to top is made behind the figure. On the surface of the monument are the names of male and female teachers with torches and martyr teachers.
On the monument, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and male and female teachers holding torches are symbolized and it is written, "THE BELIEVER DIE, OUR MARTYR TEACHERS THE TURKISH NATION WILL NOT FORGET YOU". In addition, the names of around 160 teachers who were martyred are written on the monument.
