Mirliva Hüseyin Pasha Mosque

It is located in the İnecik neighborhood of the Süleymanpaşa district. İnecik, which was established on the route where the caravans passed, was an important center during the Ottoman period. Evliya Çelebi mentioned İnecik with its shops and number of households in his Travel Book. Mirliva Hüseyin Pasha Mosque was built in 1498. It is one of the oldest mosques in Tekirdag.

It is one of the inverted "T" planned, zaviye mosques seen in Ottoman architecture. In front of the mosque, which is made of cut stone, there is a narthex with five sections covered with rimmed domes.

The narthex consists of four columns connected to each other by round arches in the middle of the extension of two wall protrusions.

The place of worship is covered with a central dome with a squinch and a pulley dome. The mihrab in the interior of the mosque is in the form of a round niche and is quite plain. It has a stone pedestal, a round body and a single balcony minaret. ( Mirliva: military rank in the Ottoman Empire)
