It represents the Thrace lands, which began to fall under the dominance of the Turks with the landing of the forces under the command of Süleyman Pasha in Gallipoli, in 1354, the victory of the conqueror of Rumelia and Süleyman Pasha, who gave our district its name.
Made entirely of bronze, the work, measuring 430x480x220, is on display in Hasan Ali Yücel Square with its weight and splendor of more than half a ton. Hasan Ali Yücel Square is located just below the Cumhuriyet Square and above the Rüstempaşa Complex.
