Cherry, which likes a warm growing season, a period of rest in the winter, a rainless flowering and a harvest period, is a fruit type with a high need for cooling. In order to grow healthy, the winter temperatures should not fall below -20°, while the soil should be low in lime, well-drained, deep and light soils. Sweet cherries with thin stems, small seeds and yellow-red colors are collected with tweezers from the few trees inherited from the Greeks.
