In the meetings held with the participation of YILMAZSPOR, HALKSPOR, TEKİRDAĞ GENÇLİKSPOR and ÇİFTLİKÖNÜSPOR in our city during the years when the professional league was established throughout the country, the foundations of TEKİRDAĞSPOR were laid in 1967, under the leadership of Former Deputy Fethi Mahramlı, thanks to the efforts of the city's notables. The colors of our team were determined by combining the yellow and dark blue colors of Youth Sports.

In the first year of its establishment, in the 1967-1968 seasons, our team finished the league in 6th place. TEKİRDAĞSPOR, which became the champion in the 3rd league in the 1976-1977 seasons, competed for the 1st league with the strong Istanbul teams that competed in the 2nd league until the 1984-1985 SEASON. Finally, our team, which was promoted to the 3rd League in 2014-2015, fell to the Regional Amateur League in the 2017-2018 seasons after 3 years of struggle in the professional league and competes in the Regional Amateur League in the 2019-2020 seasons under the chairmanship of Mülahim Kuru.
